Ahhhh thank you so much Leo. Many years ago I was fortunate enough to attend a storytelling course at Emerson College. Stories are the heart and blood of a family, a home, & a community. Now having children of my own I am blessed to be able to offer that gift to them. But being a Mamma means I have so much else to do as well... I refuse to have a television babysit my children and there is precious little out there that is of high quality or heartfelt, in the way of stories. So, this is just to say a big THANK YOU to you and your work in the world. It is sacred work to bring stories alive to children in the way you do and we love having you in our home... all the way from your little studio in your garden shed! Much Gratitude!"

I just love your stories, Leo, and my children do as well, naturally. What a wonderful gift to give them. Your wisdom, character and talent is captivating, and I just wanted to give you some appreciation. Also, in reading others' comments, I am inspired to use the stories in different ways. Typically, I've played them at bedtime to help settle my wound up children and prepare them for sleep. Now I'm thinking that playing the stories in the car, particularly when the children are tired, cranky and fighting would be a great idea. What a wonderful break they will provide for all of us, and will surely bring mood-changing relief. The stories are remarkable and I am ever grateful. Thank you, Leo! Warm wishes from our family to yours, Lisa"
I have to boys who are 6 and 9. I am constantly looking for ways to find good CD recorded books and good stories for my boys. We spend a lot of time in our car and I would like this time to be pleasant, productive and something we can look forward to. Yesterday I came across a few of your stories. They are amazing!!! We all became quiet and were eagerly listening. Thank you so much for your great work!"
We came across your stories recently... I was enamoured, the children were enamoured... lovely, lovely stories... I purchased the lot for my homeschool group and will use them as part of the language arts component... you absolutely have a gift."
Your stories helped our long drive to and from a family summer camp. I'm relishing children's stories steeped in a compassionate worldview. My heart thanks you."
Yippieeo! Neo screamed when I just told him of your latest stories. He is listening to your stories again and again - has an old iPod that is filled with them and I'm so grateful - his understanding of English is growing, he hears good stories - everything a mum´s heart needs to relax. So THANK YOU!!!!! I'm still looking for ways to bring you for some storytelling to Sweden.”
The First Smile
The inner child and me smiled, cried, and smiled again. Beautiful! Thank you.”
I LOVE these stories! My kids do too. What really moves me is the authentic soulfulness in which you tell them. We love your music, your voices, your tenderness, your messages. These stories capture what I long to cultivate in my children - authentic belief in their inherent value, compassion for others, belief in wonder and magic, passionately imagining and going towards all that is possible. Thank you for sharing yourself and your truth.

We love your stories, and listen to them in place of other media. My children love the stories so much, and are excited for their storytime everyday! Thank you.”
How the Dragon Remembered His Fire
Like the boy in the story, in return for a small ‘donation’, you secretly fill our pockets with unimaginable treasure. That’s the only way I can describe how I feel after finally subscribing to your stories. What an amazing gift. God bless you!"
Greetings from Costa Rica. My son Héctor, my wife Shirley and I love your stories!!!! Just now during lunch, I showed my family your beautiful family picture, you should have seen their faces (it's nice to know the face behind the story). Héctor is seven, and struggled for a while to answer your question as to what his favorite story is. He likes them all very much but here is his list: 1. The Pictures That Came to Life 2. Letters From God 3. The Handkerchief's Story (there are several in this level)."

My daughter and I have become enchanted by your stories. The sound of your voice, the tempo of the words, the use of music and other sounds, thoroughly transports us both into another realm. It is almost like magic! And it has also helped my own storytelling skills. You have a wonderful style - I can sense my daughter become drawn in and focused as soon as she hears your voice. Thank you Leo."

I love your stories. I was directed to your site by a Facebook 'friend' last year, thanks.”
The Sun's Message
Palace of Stories is famous in our house! I just completed RN school and I work in the emergency department in Montana, USA. Many nights, when I was too tired to tell an original story, you, Leo, saved the bedtime! In fact,I was so inspired by "The Sun's Message" last night, that I got up and squeezed all three kids again, in the dark..."
The Best Banana
I like this story. Especially the trombone-playing spiders, and to see how the theme of longing and searching can be unfolded in a story of just five minutes.”
Leo, your stories are so inspiring to me. Thanks so much!”
We have subscribed to your storytelling website and the kids have been really enjoying the stories. You have actually become our virtual babysitter at times."
Letters From God
Very very nice… I read and translated the story from english to italian for my children and they liked it a lot."

Your stories are awesome…"
A Strong Man
I love this story, as a retired teacher my path has crossed the path of many children who have these same fears. I can still see their little faces and feel their fears and wish that they had a Strong Man to comfort and protect them. I love to tell stories and since I’ve retired I have become the resident story teller for the kindergarten children in my school. I would love to tell this story to them. Maybe through this story I can touch the soul of a child who is enduring these fears and reassure them that they are special and that there are people out there that do love and care for them."
The Magic Tin
My son – 7 – wept when he listened to this. He was so touched, sad, sympathy, empathy. i wept at seeing his heart open so much by your words. again – thanks!"
