I am trying to teach the children in my son’s school about the dulcimer. We are trying to find good story books to accompany the lesson. This story seems perfect and would be fun to listen to. How can I hear a clip of it before purchasing it?

I like this story. Especially the trombone-playing spiders, and to see how the theme of longing and searching can be unfolded in a story of just 5 minutes.

Hey Leo, fun to hear one of your old stories. I am usually not so fond of reading folk tales, because I have the sense that something is missing in those transcriptions – but this one worked well for me as a revitalization of that tradition. (and quite cool with the KAPOOOOW music…:o) )

Great, I like this story. Particularly the little twist the third time the boy borrows an item from the dragon, which makes it all come together (when he says “Well, boredom IS my problem…”).

just listened to the pancake-story ‘sweeter than honey’. Very sweet! Having heard so many of your longer adult stories, it is interesting to hear such a short story. it’s like a different genre, but it works very well! (the only thing I missed on the recording was all the childrens laughter from the birthday party ) )
